Kitchen and Dining Area Floor Tiling
This project involved the preparation and tiling of a large open-plan kitchen and dining area. After priming the subfloor, an anti-fracture membrane was installed to reduce the risk of movement and cracking transferring through to the new tiles. Large-format floor tiles were then carefully laid, aligned and grouted to create a durable, consistent and easy-to-maintain finish.
Installation of the anti-fracture membrane
The primed subfloor was covered with adhesive as the anti-fracture membrane was installed across the kitchen and dining area.
Completed membrane installation
The membrane was carefully laid over the prepared floor, creating a stable base and helping to protect the tiles from movement and cracking.
Large-format floor tiling
The new floor tiles were precisely positioned and aligned across the open-plan kitchen and dining space.
